Standing out from the crowd: it’s not as difficult as you think
Going to the doctors is never a pleasant experience, so as I am helplessly stretched across the couch roll I try make my mind drift away and cast my thoughts to a different place that takes my mind of the whole horrid experience. During my last doctors trip I cast my mind to the notion of fashion, considering the use of clothing and accessories to differentiate ones self to another. I came to the conclusion that there must be two types of people, those who use clothing to be part of the latest fashion trend and fit in with their surrounding pack and those who use clothing to differentiate themselves, allowing them to stand out from the crowd around. Now some would argue that purchasing clothing and accessories from any high street retailing explicably means that this would not be possible, that you would certainly end up looking like everyone else. I disagree with this sentiment fervently, for example I often buy clothing from mass producer and now high street giant Primark, where hundreds of thousands of people enter their doors on a daily basis and purchase clothing from the same range. Now when I go out never do I see someone in the same outfit as me, even if I am dressed in head to toe Primark, and what is more people comment on my unique'style. So I out forth it is of course not where you purchase your attire from, be it a local boutique , charity shop, online or high street store it is how your chosen garments are worn, how they are assembled as an outfit and your own individual style that create the unique look your friends all comment on!
