The World is big. Really big. Forget all these idiots who say, “it’s a small world!”it isn’t. It’s a massive world, and it has equally massive potential to astound and disgust. Not only really big and really brilliant (and bad) but also stupidly complicated. Now, considering that—at a guess—more than half of the world is inebriated at the same time—and the other half is corrupted by the kind of power than would make even an olden-day wizard cry in disgust—how is anyone honestly supposed to understand the complex issues surrounding climate-change / Global Warming / whatever you want to call it? Add to this all the scientists unable to make up their minds and politicians so slippery that their feet barely touch the ground and you have a raging debate on your hands. One angle of this debate can be seen at The Enigin.
Who knows where it will end? Al Gore and Greenpeace have done amazing things to open our eyes, but that obviously isn’t enough–no matter how much of that there is. What’s important is that web-sites like Enigin bring it up for discussion over and over again, allowing users to comment on the site and therefore rock the boat a bit. With growing speculation, the scientists will eventually have to come to some kind of consensus on what is myth and what is fact (and what is also total rubbish). Until then it is we the peoples job to keep pointing the finger and agitating those in the know.
