Anyone who enjoys good quality horror movies will have heard of ‘Rec’.
The 2007 Spanish film by Balaguero and Plaza is one of the most frightening films that I have ever seen (and I have seen an awful lot). In my personal opinion, it is one of the best horror films to have been made for a very long time. When it comes to scary movies I admit that I am a bit of a sucker for ‘shaky camera’ ones that are done in the ‘Blair Witch Project’ mould. Saying this, some of the films that have been made in this style are terrible.
Anyway, it is now official that ‘Rec 2’ is on its way. If it is anyway near as good as the first one was then we are in for a real treat. On this link the film poster can now be seen.
Hollywood has bored us for years with its tired old formula for horror movies and films like ‘Rec’ are very refreshing to see. I just hope that it doesn’t turn into a money-orientated venture and lose the originality and imagination of the first film. That, sadly, was the case with ‘The Blair Witch Project’ sequel.
So, fingers crossed that they don’t fluff it. There are a lot of horror fans (myself included) that are very excited about seeing this.
Other than that guys the plans are all still in motion, we have put up the details on the forum. But we are going to be staying at the Flying pig hostel! Great stuff, if you can get a room their that would be great, but we have not booked ticket or anything for anyone else so you will need to do that, here a lot of hostel in amsterdam.
