I read this article talking about Enigin and it got me thinking. Should all companies be doing this? I mean, when the credit crunch hit 6 months ago, loads of people lost their jobs. Loads of people were made redundant and the motivation for this was cost cutting. Companies were doing this in a bid to cut their costs, reduce their outgoings, lower their overheads.

Well, instead of firing people, maybe they should be looking to employ people like enigin to save the money. There are loads of things people already accept as being a “spend to save” situation. Getting a good accountant that means you pay less tax than you are paying him/her is a great example. So why don’t we do it with out energy bills?

Why don’t we do it where it really does matter for the planet, and actually can save us more than a single persons sallary (depending on the size of the gas bill and the person’s sallery of course!).
